Growing up in a well-structured and regimented kind of society, where young people are told what to do and are often used as means to achieve ends than respected as individuals with their own thoughts and aspirations, there were two young women who question the reality and felt the need of young people for a space to explore and discover their selves and connect to realities They strongly believe in transforming the society by transforming self and are committed to assure young people that there is more life than their present life and they can enjoy life in all its fullness.
Their passion and ideas to work with young people came into being when the founders received fellowship from the Youth Involve Fellowship, a fellowship offered by Bosco Institute, Jorhat, Asam. FLAT/Nuntam Kailawn took its birth with the launching of Youth Involve Fellowship offered by Bosco Institute on 30th August 2015. Full Life Access Trust/Nuntam kailawn was registered as a Public Charitable Trust on 1st December 2015 with registration number MZ(AZL)3397-Azl/2015-2016 of 01.12.2015.
Objectives of FLAT
- Facilitate young people in their strife towards discovering self and accompanying them in their contribution to society or in their engagement in social change.
- Facilitate young people in establishing their values, principles, standards and strengthen their individual knowledge and attitude.
- Promote among young people and winning young people back to culture and tradition by promoting the values that has been laid down by our fore fathers.
- Promote and strengthen leadership and entrepreneurship among young people in Mizoram.
- Render professional social services for the welfare and upliftment of all sections of the society when need arise so that people live their life to the fullest and with dignity and pride.
- Take up developmental programs when needed relating to children and women welfare, youth development, welfare of the elderly, health/psycho-social support and so on.
- Conduct case study, survey, research as per the need.
